Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?

Custom tattoo designs including color, black & grey, and black work, fine-line tattoos, cover-up tattoos and more!

What subjects do you like to tattoo?

I adore all things related to art history as well as:
*Mythology (Greco-Roman, Celtic, Norse, Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Middle Eastern)
*Cryptids
*Cottage-Core
*Victorian, Medieval, Baroque/Rococo
* Spooky (ghosts, graves & ghouls galore!)

Do you do cover-up tattoos?

YAAASSS! I absolutely do cover-up work and have specialized in that area for several years. If you are interested in a cover-up, I recommend a virtual consultation to discuss any ideas before proceeding to booking an appointment, bring your ideas, and I can elaborate on how we can make them a reality!

Do you require a deposit?

I do require a deposit for each appointment placed. The deposit equals one hour of my current hourly rate, which is $180. This goes towards the overall cost of each appointment. If multiple appointments are required, a Deposit must be placed for each one.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Apothic is an appointment only studio but we would be happy to discuss your tattoo idea and get you set up with a consultation or appointment. Sometimes with smaller and/or less complex designs we can get scheduled sooner. To submit your tattoo idea, please click the Book An Appointment button and this will bring you to our tattoo questionnaire. There is no obligation to book, it’s more a way for us to give you the most accurate quote. And get the conversation started.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Deposits and appointment balances can be paid through Venmo or Cashapp. Cash is also preferred and accepted.

What should I wear to my tattoo appointment?

We want you to be as comfortable as possible and invite you to wear clothing that provides that comfort while allowing the area to be tattooed accessible. Apothic also provides pillows, blankets and hospital style cotton gowns (can be used for stomach, sternum, or back tattoo designs). If you have a specific item like a blanket or squishmallow feel free to bring it in! We want you to have the best experience and feel at home, if you have any questions on an item you’d like to bring please feel free to email us at apothictattoostudio@gmail.com.
